Samuel Hon is a CEO, lecturer and ICF PCC & Berkeley certified executive coach who brings over almost two decades of marketing, corporate and C-level management experience to his coaching practice. He has provided executive coaching and leadership program facilitation to international executives from organizations including Apple, Salesforce, Nike, Applied Materials and Google. He has also taught and facilitated leadership communications, diversity/inclusion and organizational change classes at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, UC Davis Graduate School of Management, UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education and the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute.

Currently, Samuel serves as CEO of a 35-year old risk management and regulatory compliance technology (Regtech) firm where he led the company to achieve 3x revenue and record-high EBITA growth via cultural transformation. Samuel was appointed as CEO after previous roles as CMO and VP of Corporate Development to transform company culture and to oversee all business functions including finance, technology, operations, marketing, sales and product management. He also founded a marketing and creative consulting firm with clients including Centene Corporation (Fortune 50 healthcare company), Sacramento Metro Chamber and Lucas Public Affairs.

Samuel is a Stanford Certified Project Manager, Pragmatic Management Certified (PMC-III), ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) & Berkeley Certified Executive Coach with training and executive coaching experience in Italy and the US. He holds a B.S. in Journalism – Strategic Communication with honors and distinction from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and he has completed Executive Education programs from Harvard Business School, Stanford University, University of California – Berkeley and University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton School. 

Samuel served two terms as President of the American Advertising Federation – Sacramento (AAF) and he was honored with over a dozen marketing and design awards. He was named to the Sacramento Business Journal “40 Under 40” and Sacramento Magazine  “Top 100 Notable Business Leaders”. He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and the Pacific Leadership Group (PLG).
